ABOUT JEEVAN CHILD WELFARE ORGANIZATION

UDAVUM KARANGAL AND CHILDREN: To date, Udavum Karangal has touched the lives of 21,000 children. 6,700 have been reunited with their parents and relatives. 4,921 have received guidance and counselling, 5,206 have been referred to other specialised organisations, 3,220 have received a package of services delivering long-term benefits and short term basis.

FOR WHOM: Through the Jeevan Child Welfare Organization, we will care for children from 3 areas – MGR Nagar, Rani Anna Nagar and Sarathy Nagar, which are the major slums surrounding Thiruverkadu, near Chennai.

WHAT WE OFFER: With your sponsorship, we care for children until they finish school. If they show more promise, we continue sponsoring them.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: A sum of Rs. 3000/- is required to sponsor a child for a full year. This can be done on a monthly (Rs 250/-), quarterly or half-yearly basis. To show you how your contribution is making a difference, we will provide you an annual progress report of the child. We will also arrange for regular meetings so you can stay updated about the child’s progress.
