Residential
rehabilitation center for the mentally sick persons (males) These persons
are being rescued from the streets in a bad shape. Most of them do not
have family support and have turned out to be chronic mentally ill persons.
300 such persons are under our care at dignity home.
Our
observations reveal that most of them are not able to recollect their
background details. Some of them are dumped here deliberately by their
relatives coming from far off states up North.
These unfortunate victims undergo painful life on the streets, some
are ill treated by sadists; some undergo police torture, some commit
suicide, some even die of starvation, as they do not know how to beg. They
fall victims to accidents also.
We have
rescued and treated successfully a few psychic maniacs who show violent
behaviour who were kept chained for decades together. Methodical treatment
with lot of compassion resulted in their union with the families to lead a
normal life.

a tree for 15 years for his violent behaviour. After 11/2 years
