This is situated in a suburban area and caters to rural population. Admission is considered exclusively for children from poor families. Free education is being provided. Value based education is extended.

The school run by Udavum Karangal has been upgraded recently to a higher secondary level.About 1000 students belonging to poor families in & around Tiruverkadu village and 400 of Udavum Karangal's resident children get value based free education. A full time correspondent,coordinator and 45 well trained staff are engaged in maintaining the school.
