4. Rs.2,000[$40] to provide books, uniforms, school bag  and shoes for a child.
5. Rs.1000[$20]   to provide a complete set of books to a child.
6. Rs.500[$10]   to provide school bag or shoes to a child.

SPONSORING MEALS ON SPECIAL OCCASIONS (date to be specified by donor)

1. Rs.2,000[$40] for 100 children one time.
2. Rs.8,000[$160] for 400 children one time.
3. Rs.36,000[$720] for all the 1800 inmates of Udavum Karangal one time.

ENDOWMENT/CORPUS FUND

4. Rs.50,000[$1000] will provide a child education up to +2 level (endowment).
5. Rs.40,000[$800] will provide computer hands on training.
6. Rs.1,50,000[$3000] will provide a spacious class room and can be named after
the donor in a plaque.

What is Sponsorship ?

. It is a meaningful relationship for the sponsor with a special child.
. It assures the child of its future in the society.
. It is a commitment for a long lasting service.

Guidlines & Information for sponsor

. The sponsor who may wish to support a child guarantees the child food,
education health and clothes.
. The sponsor is requested to mention the following specification.

(a) male or female child.
(b) age group.
(c) school going or not.
(d) mentally retarded/spastic/disabled/HIV Positive
(e) new born infant.


What does the sponsor get?

. The sponsor gets name of the child with photo name and background details.
. Regular communication may be maintained with the child.
. Gifts, cards, clothes & Books can be sent to the child.
. The sponsor can visit the child to share their happiness.
. It is not advisable to take the child for an outing for practical reasons.
