DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS

 Mrs. Meena Menon is a highly talented and versatile lady. She takes care of the children at Sontham Children’s Village for nearly a decade. She is also taking care of the “Care & Share” gift shop where handicraft products made by residents are displayed. Today she is an inseparable part of Udavum Karangal. 

Mrs. Sukanya & Mr. Murali, young couple and dedicated volunteers. They take care of the mentally challenged adults at Coimbatore. Their commitment in handling tough patients towards rehabilitation is worth mentioning.

Sister Thriveni is a senior volunteer at our centre, serving for more than a decade. Her loving nature blended with maternal instinct in caring infants has put many life into life. 

 Brother Murali, the ever smiling, frail looking man is one of the senior volunteers. His service in providing care and happiness to the dying destitutes at the Malarvanam unit is remarkable

Sister Davamani is an efficient care giver. She single handedly maintains the two hundred plus strong mentally challenged and AIDS patients with utmost care in Karunalayam. She is a person with strong determination and skills.

Sister Lokeswari is a calm and quite girl brought up by Udavum Karangal. Today she sets an example to other young girls by taking care of the HIV + children.


Sister Mahalakshmi is highly talented in making handicraft items. She also looks after “Manasa”, a unit for mentally backward children. She is good in teaching the children to live independently breaking all their barriers

Sister Lakshmi is a senior volunteer and she has spent her so far life in caring tiny tots. She is affectionately called as “Lakshmiakka”. She also trains up many other volunteers in care giving.

Brother. Narayanan is a senior volunteer with good communication skills. He has been involved in disaster management and presently co-ordinates with the tsunami relief work.
