This is a home that cares for babies between the age of six months to 18 months. These little ones are so adorable and serene like fresh flowers thus the name “Pasamalargal” Babies transferred from Thulir and also rescued from undesirable places are being cared here. The loving caregivers look after these babies with utmost care and love. They are being carefully monitored by pediatrician and paramedics. All the timely and required immunization and preventive medicines have been administered on regular intervals.

The care providers are chosen with utmost care. The basic qualities expected are motherly instinct, readiness to work round the clock and ability to provide love and care in abundance to the children who are parentless.


How they came here?

Sonali was found abandoned near our center with a small note. The message was that the infant was given birth by a widow 2 days back and due to social pressure she is disowning the baby. The baby was highly malnourished and looked as if she was not being fed at all.

Meghana was handed over to us by her relatives. The father killed her mother suspecting fidelity and was. He is now undergoing imprisonment. The relatives were not interested in taking care of the baby and hence was surrendered to us

Suraj was born to a teenage girl who was a high school student. The girl’s parents did not want to keep the baby fearing social stigma, and handed over the baby to our institution.

Anushree was abandoned in a hospital and was handed over to us by a social worker. This is a typical case of discrimination towards female children. Just because she is female the parents disowned her.
